Results 12th April 2025

A strong field of players took part in the stroke event on Saturday the 12 th which was sponsored by

members Kay Webb, Linda Kelly and Lorraine Evans. The course is in great condition but still has a

few wet patches making things a little bit difficult. It’s been a few weeks since the greens were cored

and they are really starting to come on now as well. Despite the showery conditions some great

scores were seen with our illustrious president Len Leigh standing tall with a 68 nett. He was pushed

all the way by Tod Beckett in their match play side game. Well done, Len. Runner-up, on a countback,

with a great score of 70 nett was Rick Goodrich who just got up over Jason Bacon. Pin shots went to

Matt Macarthur, Eric Ree and Ron Batterham on holes 3, 12 and 17 respectively. Approach shots

went to Trevor Wren (1/10), Tod Beckett (5/14) and Matt Waterworth (9/18).

The ladies event was won on a countback by Lisa Stuart with a very good 74 nett followed by Neta

Thouard who also scored 74 nett. Pin shots went to Lisa Stuart on 3 and Mei Bell on 12 and 17.

Approach shots were won by Mei Bell (2/11) and Lynette Ludlow (7/16).

Next weeks (Easter Saturday) event is a 4BBB sponsored by Simon Shannon. It’s a 12pm shotgun

start and is a popular event so get your names in as soon as you can.
