Results 19th April 2025

A big field of 70 players took part in the 4BBB event on Saturday the 19th. Thanks to member Simon Shannon who provided the sponsorship for the day. With the recent rain followed by all of the sunshine the course is really in great condition and the greens have come along beautifully. No reason then why the scoring shouldn’t be red hot, and it certainly was with the boys in (hot) pink, Brendon Barker and Jason Bacon recording an excellent score of 50 points. Coming in second place with a great score of 48 points (which could be a winning score on any other day) was Len Leigh and Ian Pickering. Our illustrious president Len has been in good form lately and followed on from last week’s win. He’s obviously got the game sorted out now and is peaking for next month’s championships. Pin shots went to Travis Burton, Len Leigh and Simon Shannon on holes 3, 12 and 17 respectively. Approach shots went to Ivan Juriss (1/10), Simon Shannon (5/14) and Jason Bacon (9/18). The ladies pin shots went to Lisa Stuart on 3, Mandy Benussi on 12 and Helen Jones on 17. Approach shots were won by Mandy Benussi (2/11) and Neta Thouard (7/16).
